The challenge was the adaptation of this home for the living dynamics of a new generation about to inhabit it.
Thus, the proposed project wants to retain from the past ambiance, by reinterpreting and using certain materials such as: glass bricks, the wood floor stereotomy, the chess floor made out of terrazzo tiles and textured plaster, etc.
By the joining of these materials with fresh, bright colors, the resulted contrast generates an appropriate backdrop for the lifestyle of a young family.
This is the way we imagined a background for the passing of time, elements from the design the house had 30 years ago, the good life spent during that time, together with present elements that make up the space for a new family life. In this way the project will become a new layer in the interior architecture of this space.
